Pay Range: $40- $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Locate and identify materials by reviewing assigned count lists, locations, and part or asset numbers in the cycle counting software.
- Count and record items by hand, entering quantities and locations into the cycle counting software, and scanning barcodes or serial numbers where possible.
- Flag and recount discrepancies, documenting variances and escalating unresolved differences to the inventory lead.
- Maintain organization by returning items to correct locations, keeping count areas tidy, and tagging counted areas to prevent double counting.
- Follow safety and security procedures when handling controlled and sensitive hardware.
- Report daily progress on completed counts, open discrepancies, and any blockers during the count window.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Comfort with scanners, handheld devices, and inventory software.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
- Prior inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently.
