Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain the physical inventory storage area, ensuring parts are easily accessible and properly stored.
  • Take photos of inventory and keep an up to date log on the website.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to prevent stock outs and minimize excess inventory.
  • Assist the service department in locating parts for repairs and addressing any part-related inquiries.
  • Update inventory records in the management system promptly and accurately.
  • Identify and report damaged or defective parts.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any inventory or delivery issues.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in an automotive setting.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
