Job Summary We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team! As our Inventory Coordinator, you will maintain a running list of all inventory, supplies, and equipment. You will also be conducting audits as necessary, assisting with employee training so that everyone is following best inventory practices, and creating reports on inventory issues. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, familiarity with a warehouse environment, and great communication skills.
Responsibilities
Receiving: Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and inspecting for damage.
Inventory Control: Tracking stock levels, performing daily or cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
Shipping: Preparing, weighing, labeling, and shipping outgoing orders.
Data Management: Updating inventory records, such as quantities and locations, in ERP systems or spreadsheets.
Warehouse Coordination: Organizing stock on racks, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring safety standards.
Logistics & Communication: Coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to manage schedules.
Perform all duties in alignment with OSHA and company safety policies
Assist with training new and existing employees on basic inventory tracking and management policies
Qualifications
Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred
Experience and knowledge with inventory control and management techniques and systems
