Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Location: St. Paul, MN
Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM


Job Summary :

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and shipping/receiving activities. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory is accurately maintained, materials are properly stored, and orders are prepared and shipped to customer sites in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and accurately store them in designated warehouse locations.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately for shipment according to established processes.
  • Label and meter packages using various freight/shipping systems.
  • Process inventory and shipping orders using the SJM ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
  • Perform material handling and ensure materials are delivered to required areas on time.
  • Assist with Shipping & Receiving activities as needed.
  • Complete daily preparations for the following day's distribution activities.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
  • Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Support divisional initiatives and requirements related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
  • Comply with applicable regulatory and company requirements.
  • Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or distribution is preferred.
  • Experience working with an ERP or inventory management system is a plus.
