Inventory Coordinator / Forklift Operator
Job Location: Sunnyvale, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $40.81 - $49.61/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as an Inventory Coordinator with forklift experience? We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional to support warehouse and inventory operations through October, with the potential for the assignment to be extended. This role is responsible for the receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies while maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, organize, store, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and material distribution
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support the processing and disposal of surplus equipment and materials
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Follow all safety policies and warehouse procedures

You will be supporting a government agency in a city in Sunnyvale, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous inventory, warehouse, or storekeeping experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
