    We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as an Inventory Coordinator who will play a crucial role in supporting inventory management, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movements, and working as a liaison between warehouse, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service teams. All work will be performed in accordance with Company policies and procedures and local, regional, and national regulations.


    Responsibilities & Duties
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory levels, product availability, material movements, and discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records for bulk chemicals, drums, totes, and packaged products.
    • Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of chemical products.
    • Track inventory quantities and locations and ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage.
    • Enter and maintain inventory transactions and product information in the company database or inventory system.
    • Perform physical inventory and cycle counts and reconcile variances.
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments.
    • Generate inventory reports and communicate shortages, overages, damaged materials, and slow-moving inventory.
    • Coordinate with production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and purchasing teams to support inventory availability and order fulfillment.
    • Verify Bills of Lading, packing lists, receiving documents, and other inventory-related paperwork.
    • Maintain accurate records of incoming, outgoing, transferred, and adjusted inventory.
    • Ensure product labels and supporting documentation match inventory records and customer orders.
    • Maintain organized electronic and paper inventory records, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
    • Monitor inventory adjustments and ensure required documentation and approvals are completed.
    • Assist with investigating damaged, expired, contaminated, or non-conforming materials.
    • Support reconciliation of company-owned, customer-owned, and consigned inventory, as applicable.
    • Support audits and inventory inspections by providing accurate records and documentation.
    • Maintain knowledge of company products, inventory procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
    • Recommend improvements to inventory control, tracking, reporting, and fulfillment processes.
    • Manage multiple inventory requests and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.


    Requirements
    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
    • Previous inventory, warehouse, operations, logistics, or administrative support experience preferred.
    • Experience working with inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems preferred.
    • Microsoft Office experience, particularly Microsoft Excel, required.
    • Experience with inventory reporting, cycle counting, or inventory reconciliation preferred.
    • Knowledge of chemical products, storage requirements, and material handling practices is a plus.

    Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
    • Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material handling.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
    • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to analyze inventory data and resolve discrepancies.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and vendors.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of chemical handling and safety practices.

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
    • Combination of office-based and light warehouse work.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
    • May work around warehouse noise, dust, industrial materials, and changing temperatures.
    • Ability to perform light stocking, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
    • Ability to wear required PPE.
    • Occasional operation of forklifts or other material-handling equipment after required training and authorization.
    • May work overtime or adjusted schedules as operationally necessary.
