    Inventory Coordinator

    Primary Purpose:

    The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for receiving, documenting, storing, and distributing materials that are required in the manufacturing process.  This specific position is primarily responsible for assembly hardware inventory. 

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Receiving, unboxing, verifying, and warehousing materials
    • Collecting, maintaining (filing), and retrieving certification documentation for materials received
    • Breaking large receipts into smaller quantities for controlled distribution
    • Creating hardware kit packages according to job bills of material
    • Maintaining material lot identification and tracing from receipt through distribution into production
    • Distributing materials and kits to the production floor and outside processors as applicable
    • Maintaining secure stockroom for materials in a logical and organized fashion
    • Providing monthly physical inventory counts of materials on-hand to accounting
    • Coordinating with outside processors to provide monthly physical inventory counts as necessary
    • Coordinating with production planning for forecasting quantities of hardware kit packages required to ensure hardware materials are available when required
    • Communication with purchasing regarding usage rates and inventory levels as requested to support order timing
    • Interacting with operations personnel responsible for hardware installation to explore opportunities for improvements in the distribution process
    • Other related duties as may be assigned

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
    • High School diploma or GED required; degree preferred. (Applicable experience may offset the education requirement/preference.)
    • Strong mathematical aptitude
    • Attention to detail
    • Continuous Improvement mindset
    • Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Intermediate Excel
    • Clear verbal and written communication
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
    • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
    • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
    • Must be willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening.

    Schedule:
    • Full-time, hourly
    • Onsite
