    Inventory Controller II

    Location: Baytown, TX

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Shift: Days 8am-5pm

    Position Summary

    Are you an experienced inventory specialist with sharp problem-solving skills and a high standard for quality? We are looking for a mid-level Inventory Controller II to oversee stock organization, lead audit processes, and keep our warehouse operations running smoothly.

    In this role, you will play a key part in inventory accuracy, cycle counts, damaged goods management, and safety compliance while maintaining a hands-on presence on the floor.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Inventory Management & Audits: Perform regular monthly cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and coordinate both internal and external audits to ensure complete inventory accuracy.

    • Warehouse & Cargo Control: Organize warehouse layout for optimal stock tracking; enforce all internal and legal safety regulations for proper cargo storage.

    • Damaged Goods & Maintenance: Supervise the handling, documentation, and repair process for damaged goods.

    • Floor Operations & Support: Serve as a certified Forklift Driver, execute general labor tasks, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

    • Customer & Team Support: Handle inquiries with professionalism and deliver quality service across various operational scenarios.

    Qualifications & RequirementsTechnical & Operational Skills
    • Inventory Experience: Proven background in warehouse organization, stock tracking, and cycle count reconciliation.

    • Equipment Certification: Must meet all qualification standards for a Forklift Driver (FLD).

    • Problem Solving & Math: Strong ability to solve practical problems, follow complex instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

    • Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with minimal to no supervision.

    Physical & Schedule Expectations
    • Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 55 lbs, climb, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.

    • Environment: Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse settings across varying weather conditions.

    • Punctuality & Availability: Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start; flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business demand.

    Communication & Compliance
    • Language Skills: Proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.

    • Safety & Quality Standards: Thorough knowledge of site Safety Manuals, Quality Manuals, and OSHA regulations; commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
