We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production needs, and building strong vendor relationships. What You'll Do
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock quantities to support operational needs.
- Place orders for materials and supplies within established guidelines.
- Identify and develop backup sources for critical and high-demand inventory items.
- Analyze inventory trends and ordering patterns to improve efficiency and recommend recurring delivery solutions.
- Generate and provide inventory reports to management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments, inventory receipts, and outbound transactions.
- Manage inventory data within computerized inventory systems and assist with system updates and improvements.
- Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and spot audits to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with annual physical inventory audits.
- Operate a forklift as needed to move and organize materials.
- Support additional inventory, warehouse, and purchasing activities as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to navigate warehouse environments and access materials stored at varying heights.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, when required.
