    Job Summary: in the position of Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for daily maintenance and accuracy of data contained in our WMS (Warehouse Management System)/SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products), perform daily counts to monitor and maintain inventory levels.

    Schedule: Day Shift - 7am-5:30pm
     
    Pay: $19-$21/hour
     
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, control the outflow and inflow of inventory
    • Record purchases, maintain database, and reconcile actual stock count to computer‐generated reports
    • Develop inventory process enhancements, investigate daily inventory issues and determine resolution
    • Lead the annual inventory process in collaboration with accounting
    • Assists in developing and initiating control policies and procedures and in planning activities that relate to inventory control in the organization.
    • Process and document returns as required following established procedures
    • Tracks inventory maintenance and keeps management up to date regarding inventory inflow and outflow; compiles inventory information and presents it to management with recommendations for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock or for quick resolution of issues.
    • Support management in training department personnel, scheduling work assignments, and monitoring quality controls
       
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.
    • Proficiency in Excel and MS365
    • Excellent communication skills, especially with leadership.
    • Detailed Oriented
    • Building partnerships among other departments.
    • Ability to work through fast paced environment.
    • Excellent Time management.
     
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED
    • Previous experience using scanners, inventory control administration, and SAP/WMS
    • Knowledge of raw materials and production processes.
    • Bilingual English/ Mandarin
     
    Physical Requirements:
    • Very Heavy work: Lifting and carrying for a short distance up to 50 pounds constantly on your own & up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently.
    • Standing: To remain on one’s feet in an upright position without moving about.
    • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another
    • Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down towards an object on or near the ground
    • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
    • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound
    • Vision: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work
    • Environment: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
