CSI Aerospace, Inc. a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NSE-HEI) is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing the inventory counts at CSI Aerospace, Inc. Tasks will include managing inventory levels, performing physical counts, assisting Team Members with inventory issues in the ERP system, material planning for manufacturing departments and issuing of build orders for internally produced parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Maintain inventory controls to ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform monthly cycle counts on inventory and help coordinate the year end physical inventory count.
- Address inventory overages or shortages by investigating for root cause, communicating suspected issues, and suggesting solutions to management.
- Analyze inventory stock levels, historical usage, demand requirements, and production schedules to ensure adequate material availability.
- Review inventory requirements and issue Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for internally produced parts based on production demand, forecasted usage, and minimum stock levels.
- Monitor inventory trends and recommend production quantities to maintain appropriate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Coordinate with production departments to identify material needs and proactively prevent inventory shortages and manufacturing delays.
- Release POs in the absence of the Purchasing Manager.
- Review Weekly/Monthly reports on material usage and make recommendations on reorder levels/production quantities.
- Review inventory cost variances and identify the root cause.
- Appropriately receive inventory and expense items into the business.
- Identify and work with management on minimizing slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Aid Production Team Members on Quantum and provide helpful insight and solutions.
- Support in ordering and organization of shop-aid non-inventory expense items as a back-up to the Purchasing Manager.
- Assist in receiving incoming customer orders.
- Create and revise MO/WO templates as requested.
- Perform edits to MO/WO to correct material.
- Perform labor edits in Quantum to correct production time.
- All other duties requested by management.
