Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control & Receiving Specialist to support inventory accuracy and material flow within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for daily cycle counting, SAP/ERP transactions, receiving activities, discrepancy resolution, and safe material handling. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records.

Schedule

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Days: Monday - Friday
  • Overtime: As needed, including occasional weekend work

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting

  • Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and complete adjustments in SAP
  • Identify root causes of variances and recommend corrective actions

Receiving & Goods Processing

  • Verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Execute all goods receipt transactions accurately in SAP
  • Manage receiving for operational and technical expenses (e.g., cleaning services, rent, supplies)

ERP / SAP Transactions

  • Accurately and timely enter inventory transactions in SAP
  • Monitor and resolve COGI (SAP error reports) and posting issues

Material Handling & Forklift Operation

  • Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and count materials
  • Load and unload materials as required
  • Follow all safety standards and facility procedures

Data Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy and documentation integrity
  • Support improvements in inventory control processes

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • High attention to detail with accurate data entry abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with an ERP system required; SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
