Inventory Control Manager

gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Houston, TX area. Our client is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to manage inventory accuracy and material flow.

Position Responsibilities:

- Manage inventory processes and accuracy

- Lead cycle counts and reconciliations

- Coordinate with purchasing and production

- Reduce waste and shortages

- Lead inventory staff

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Track material receipts and usage

- Maintain inventory systems

- Report inventory metrics

- Improve storage and handling

- Support audits

Position Skills:

- 3+ years of inventory or materials management experience

- Manufacturing or steel experience a plus

- ERP system experience

- Strong analytical skills

- Leadership experience
