Description

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory through physical counts, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and system updates. This position will investigate inventory discrepancies, verify product locations and quantities, and work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, computer proficient, and comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and in inventory management systems.

Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Actively monitor inventory and replenish products from stock/storage locations to designated picking locations.
  • Monitor picking locations to ensure sufficient inventory is available for daily order fulfillment.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
    Set up, schedule, and manage routine cycle counting.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical inventory and our Inventory Management System.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding inventory control matters, discrepancies, counts, and adjustments.
  • Verify inventory locations, quantities, SKUs, and product information.
  • Make necessary inventory and location adjustments in the warehouse management system.
  • Work closely with warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory and prevent fulfillment delays.
  • Assist with inventory audits and other inventory control projects as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, fulfillment, or a related position preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems (WMS) quickly.
  • Experience with inventory counts, cycle counting, replenishment, and inventory adjustments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients regarding inventory-related matters.
