Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk II to join a manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, receiving and locating parts, pulling materials for job orders, and staging components for production.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous inventory, warehouse, or material handling experience required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Basic math skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to accurately follow job orders and inventory documentation
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training preferred




Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter received parts and materials into the inventory management system
• Move incoming inventory to the correct bin, storage area, or staged job location
• Perform daily cycle counts and document inventory variances
• Maintain accurate inventory quantities, records, and part locations
• Pull parts and materials accurately according to job orders
• Stage materials and orders for the assembly and production departments
• Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with researching and resolving variances
• Gather inventory information and maintain accurate documentation
• Verify materials are properly identified, stored, and accounted for
• Operate forklifts to move inventory and materials throughout the facility
• Maintain clean and organized inventory, warehouse, and storage areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and inventory control practices
• Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned




Preferred Qualifications

• Previous inventory control and cycle counting experience
• Manufacturing or production environment experience
• Experience with Visual Manufacturing software or similar ERP/inventory management systems
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Order pulling and material staging experience
• Familiarity with inventory discrepancy research and reconciliation




Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable moving between inventory storage, warehouse, and production areas throughout the workday




Work Environment

• Manufacturing and industrial warehouse environment
• Fast-paced operation requiring accurate inventory tracking and material movement
• Regular use of forklifts, inventory systems, warehouse equipment, and production documentation
• Frequent interaction with receiving, assembly, production, and warehouse personnel
• Team-oriented workplace focused on safety, organization, and inventory accuracy
