JOB TITLE: Inventory Control Clerk

Job Type: Contract (5 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Shift: Monday to Friday, start by 8:00 AM (8?hour shift).

Summary:
Compiles records of quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
Requisitions needed supplies and verifies material received to detect irregularities in order.
Inspects articles and rejects defective ones based on quality standards.
Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
Tracks expenditures of equipment repairs, services, and parts ordered.
Logs all parts according to equipment or asset that is part of or any critical component on the manufacturing floor.
Maintains inventory data and updates records to reflect material movements.
Processes receipts and issues materials to support production requirements.
Identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies through cycle counts and reconciliations.
Uses inventory management systems and data entry tools for accurate record keeping.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
2-4 years of experience in Inventory Control.
2-4 years of experience in Inventory Management.
Experience compiling inventory records and reports.
Experience requisitioning supplies and verifying material received.
Experience inspecting articles and rejecting defective ones.
Experience investigating discrepancies in stock counts and performing reconciliations.
Experience tracking expenditures of equipment repairs, services, and parts ordered.
Experience logging parts according to equipment or asset for traceability.
Experience with data entry and inventory tracking systems.
