Title: Inventory Control Clerk - A

Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM | Pay: 24/hr
Summary: Seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support stockroom operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, managing stock orders, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring the integrity of inventory records within the Maximo system. This role serves as a critical link between maintenance, engineering, vendors, and plant operations to ensure materials and repair parts are available when needed to support uninterrupted operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong inventory management experience, exceptional attention to detail, solid computer proficiency, and the ability to effectively troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, expedite orders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counting and inventory audits.
- Receive, record, store, and issue stockroom inventory and materials.
- Utilize Maximo and other inventory management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with vendors to place orders, expedite critical materials, and follow up on open purchase orders.
- Investigate and resolve inventory, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
- Process repairable parts, obtain vendor return authorizations (RA#s), and manage associated shipping documentation.
- Work with Engineering and Maintenance teams to establish new inventory items and ensure proper stock levels.
- Maintain an organized and audit-ready stockroom environment.
- Support maintenance activities by ensuring repair parts are available for preventive maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancy resolution.
- Adhere to FDA, GMP, USDA, OSHA, and Client policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
Required Experience:- Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, materials management, or supply chain experience.
- Experience working with inventory management or ERP systems.
- Experience maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Experience interacting with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, maintenance, distribution, or regulated environment preferred.
Preferred Experience- Experience using Maximo or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience supporting manufacturing or maintenance operations.
- Experience in FDA, GMP, USDA, or OSHA regulated environments.
- Experience processing repairable inventory and return authorizations.
- Experience investigating inventory discrepancies and performing root cause analysis.
Education Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
