About the Role

This Inventory Clerk position involves managing and maintaining inventory for a local farming company, primarily focused on tractors and equipment. The role is based in a retail farm equipment environment, where you'll be responsible for accurately receiving, identifying, marking, and displaying equipment. Success in this position means ensuring all equipment is properly labeled, organized, and maintained to provide a positive retail experience for customers. This role is vital in supporting efficient inventory management and presentation for the company.

Core Responsibilities

• Receive and identify new tractors and equipment shipped into the store, cross-checking packing slips with actual contents and reporting discrepancies.
• Properly mark all equipment with designated labels and tags.
• Assist with inventory display setup and organization for retail presentation.
• Wash down and clean equipment displays to ensure a presentable appearance for retail customers.
• Use basic hand tools for equipment preparation and minor maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts to move and position heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of received and displayed inventory.
• Report inventory discrepancies and facilitate inventory control processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Forklift experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Computer skills.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Standing, lifting, and moving equipment frequently.

Use of hand tools and forklifts.

Indoor and outdoor work environment.
