Description

This is a hands-on warehouse and inventory position with a mix of administrative and physical responsibilities. The Inventory Clerk will receive incoming material, process returns, perform cycle counts and stock checks, move inventory through the system, and help prepare customer orders for shipment. 

 

Hours: Monay-Friday, 7am-3pm.

Job Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, verify, and process items from vendor purchase orders.
Process customer returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform inventory control activities including stock checks, cycle counts, and material transfers.
Complete required inventory and receiving transactions within company systems.
Pick, pack, and prepare standard tool orders for customer shipment.
Package and label special tool orders and verify quantities and shipping information.
Unpack incoming stock shipments and place inventory in the appropriate storage locations.
Verify incoming quantities and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
Operate shipping systems, scales, and related equipment to weigh, label, and prepare packages.
Sort and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
Support stock organization and overall inventory accuracy.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Assist with additional shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous inventory, shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
Experience performing cycle counts, stock checks, or inventory transactions is a plus.
Comfortable using computers and learning inventory or ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping information.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable working independently while supporting a team.
Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, unpacking, and moving inventory throughout the shift.
Dependable attendance and willingness to work a consistent 7:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule.
