Inventory Associate

Safely operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers. Position Summary: The Inventory Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products and materials.

DPP is seeking an Inventory Associate for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace industry.
 
Work Location: Onsite in Kent, WA
Duration: 3 months
Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00PM-12:30AM
Terms: W2 Contract
 
Position Summary:

• The Inventory Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products and materials.
• This role requires accurate inventory management, safe operation of equipment, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Safely operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers.
• Organize and store products in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Assist with receiving inspections and quality checks.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
• Safety is a top priority it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
• Mathematical skills & Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Previous certified forklift experience
• Must be able to work at least 45hr/week. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
