Primary Purpose:
Coordinate and manage the procurement, inventory, organization, and distribution of materials, and supplies to support campus and departmental operations. Ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely ordering, efficient warehouse organization, and effective delivery of resources to campuses and classrooms while maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
High School diploma, bachelor's degree in an accounting related field preferred.
TASBO certification preferred
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of project planning and construction budgets
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and material distribution processes
Excellent hearing and vision
Ability to read invoices and pay applications
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Forklift certified, or ability to gain certificate
Preferred Experience:
Experience in warehouse operations preferred, inventory control, logistics coordination, and materials procurement, preferably in a school district environment. Experience with budget tracking, capital expenditures, bond-funded purchases, and construction-related materials preferred.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise warehouse employees.
Equipment Used:
Personal computer, copier, calculator, electronic documentation, scanner, etc. Pallet Jack, forklift, carts and related warehouse tools
Working Conditions:
Site visits to construction sites may be required.
Prolonged sitting
Occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse
Occasional reaching
Occasional heavy lifting and carrying (up to 45 pounds)
May work prolonged or irregular hours
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
Ability to work in both warehouse and office environments
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout warehouse and campus locations for extended periods of time
Ability to operate standard office equipment and warehouse-related equipment as required
