Inventory and Material Clerk - Industrial Setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand material needs and forecast inventory requirements.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy access and retrieval.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork efficiently.
• Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience in inventory management or material handling, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
