Job Title: Inventory Analyst I 

Location:  Dubuque, IA 

Job Type: 12 month, On Going Contract, W2 

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week 

Schedule: On-site, 6am-2:30pm 

Pay Range:  $20.71 per hour  

Job Description:  

Position Description 

  • Print inventory cycle counts. 

  • Work with wage inventory counters to verify count accuracy. 

  • Enter cycle count results into SAP. 

  • Perform root cause analysis and close inventory count discrepancies. 

  • Spend approximately 50% of time on the manufacturing floor providing verification for incoming cycle counts. This percentage may vary based on business needs. 

Position Requirements 

  • SAP is used 99% of the time; candidates must also be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • SAP experience is strongly preferred; however, training can be provided. Candidates without SAP experience must have experience working in other business systems. 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (field of study not specified). 

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment will also be considered. 

  • Experience with inventory management in a manufacturing setting is required. 

  • Experience performing root cause and corrective action analysis is required. 

  • Warehouse and manufacturing experience is beneficial, including cycle counts, forklift operation, shipping, and receiving activities. 

  • Candidates must have experience in an administrative and data entry-focused role and understand that this position does not involve physically moving parts. 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with cycle count processes and inventory reconciliation. 

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and warehouse operations. 

  • Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and identify corrective actions. 

  • Strong computer skills with experience using ERP systems, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
