Job Title: Inventory Analyst I

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday–Friday

Job Overview
Responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, audits, reporting, and inventory-related issue resolution within a manufacturing environment. The role is approximately 50% on the manufacturing floor and 50% administrative/data-entry work.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct inventory audits and cycle-count activities.
· Print and distribute inventory cycle counts.
· Work with inventory counters and verify count results.
· Enter inventory results and transactions into SAP.
· Prepare and review inventory reports.
· Monitor inventory processes, including cycle counting, RGA, and excess material disposition.
· Analyze inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
· Resolve inventory-related questions and issues.
· Coordinate daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits.
· Support efforts to improve inventory accuracy and turns.
· Provide work direction/coaching to less experienced personnel.
· Support administrative activities related to HR processes.
Required Qualifications
· 1+ year of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience with root cause and corrective action analysis.
· Strong data-entry and administrative skills.
· Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
· Experience working with inventory/manufacturing systems.
· SAP experience strongly preferred but can be trained for candidates with experience in similar systems.
· High School Diploma/equivalent required; degree preferred.
· Experience with cycle counting, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing is beneficial.
· Must be comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and verifying inventory; this is not a physical material-handling role.
Additional Requirements
· Approximately 50% floor-based work, depending on business needs.
· Metatarsal safety boots required.
· Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
