Now Hiring: Inventory Analyst 2 | Houston, TX
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst 2 for an 18-month contract opportunity in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting inventory accuracy and reconciliation within a 3PL environment.
Location: Houston, TX 77075
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Experience: 2-4 years
Pay: $26/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and random inventory and receipt audits
- Conduct physical inventory counts and track inventory discrepancies
- Reconcile inventory overages, shortages, receipt issues, supplier discrepancies, and shipment errors
- Research historical inventory movements using SAP or similar materials systems
- Investigate discrepancies and document Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Communicate inventory adjustments and issues to Supply Chain Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and onsite 3PL partners
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 2-4 years of relevant inventory, record accuracy, or inventory management experience
- Internship experience may count toward relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite warehouse/manufacturing environment
