Inventory Accuracy Technician – Warehouse Operations

A day in this role

You start your shift by grabbing your RF scanner and walking the aisles, confirming that what’s on the shelf matches what’s in the system. You scan bin locations and products, perform cycle counts, and spot-check quantities. When you notice a shortage, overage, or a misplaced item, you document it and alert your lead. You move, organize, and replenish merchandise so pick faces stay stocked, create and process units or cases for stocking, and keep clear, accurate records as you go. Throughout the day, you follow warehouse safety procedures, maintain a tidy workspace, and jump in to help with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Core responsibilities

• Operate a handheld RF scanner to scan products, locations, and inventory.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
• Verify product quantities and confirm correct storage locations.
• Locate and identify inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Move, organize, and replenish merchandise to support operations.
• Check for shortages, overages, and any inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with bin checks and complete necessary inventory adjustments.
• Create and process units/cases to prepare items for stocking.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and reports.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Keep your work area clean and well organized.
• Communicate discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or lead.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Strong counting skills and attention to detail when recording data.
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Dependable, with consistent attendance and adherence to safety policies.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.

Physical requirements

• Able to lift and carry boxes and merchandise.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Work safely while operating or working around warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
