Invasive Cardiac Specialist, Radiology Technologist, Days

Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development needs from adolescent through geriatric patients; assists with invasive procedures in the roles of hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing with physicians. Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND State Radiology Technologist License: Must obtain RAD within 12 months of hire if currently hold RADT.

Responsibilities:

The Invasive Cardiac Specialist-Rad Technol demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development needs from adolescent through geriatric patients; assists with invasive procedures in the roles of hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing with physicians.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND State Radiology Technologist License: Must obtain RAD within 12 months of hire if currently hold RADT.

• One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

OR

• Temp State License AND must obtain ARRT(R) prior to temp license expiration.
• One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

Desired:

• One year in a cath lab

• Cardiac Interventional Radiography OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography OR Vascular Interventional Radiography OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
