Interviewing Clerk - Other Personal Services (OPS)
Location: Hillsborough or Pinellas Counties - Applicants interested in working in counties other than Hillsborough or Pinellas County will need to apply for positions advertised for those specific areas on the People First System.
This FULL-TIME OPS position is with the Economic Self Sufficiency Program Customer Service Centers and will be responsible for interviewing applicants to determine type of services and public assistance needs, both over the phone and in person and assisting customers in the Service Center Lobbies.
Some of the duties of the Interviewing Clerk include explanation of eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs, determining eligibility for expedited food stamp services, entering client data into database based on intake of caller information, maintaining necessary files and records, and completing general clerical duties to include using computer to input data for clients who are applying for public assistance benefits, answering the phone, using photocopy machine, scanner and other office machines.

This position is OPS and will be paid $16.71 hourly and is scheduled for full-time hours.
