    Description:

    At Saint Mary's Hospital, Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Interventional Radiology unit provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures guided by imaging technologies such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound. This role involves intraoperative care, conscious sedation, patient education, and collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

    What You Will Do:

    • Interventional Radiology nurses continuously assess patients' conditions, monitor and document patient responses to procedures and medications, administered medications and administrated conscious sedation and cardiac monitoring

    • Work closely with all physicians and healthcare provider staff for close patient monitoring of intra-op.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing school

    • Valid RN License in Connecticut

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing

    • Interventional Radiology preferred or three or more years of experience in ICU or Cath Lab settings.

    • Experience with conscious sedation and interventional procedures.

    • BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

    Position Highlights:

    • Per Diem Rotating Schedule, Monday thru Friday
