What Youll Do
- Provide direct patient care as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in a procedural environment
- Support circulator responsibilities, including preparation and bedside support for procedures
- Assist with conscious sedation workflows and patient monitoring requirements
- Monitor patients with telemetry needs as part of peri-procedural care
- Handle workload independently and competently from day one
- Coordinate with IR attendings, Fellows, and Radiology Residents in a collaborative team setting
- Float within the unit as needed and provide shift coverage for scheduling rotations
What You Need
Required- Active RN license
- ACLS and BLS
- Ability to work independently and be able to start immediately (no first-time travelers)
- Epic experience
- Circulator experience
- Conscious sedation experience
- Telemetry experience
Preferred- Experience with infants and pediatrics
- CPI, NIH, PALS
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Scrub experience
- Neuro IR experience
- ICU/ED/Tele Step Down experience
About the Assignment
Join a busy Interventional Radiology unit supporting a patient population with an average daily census of
56 patients/room and a staffing ratio of approximately
1:6. The role includes shift rotations (including weekends) and call/coverage expectations, with opportunities to work alongside experienced IR clinicians and in-house teams.
