Job Summary

Join our team in Morristown, NJ, where you'll have the opportunity to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures under the modalities of Fluoroscopy and general X-ray.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with invasive procedures in the specialties of Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical interventional, utilizing aseptic techniques per AORN guidelines.
  • Collaborate with all members of the health care team through the model of Shared Governance, focusing on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the Interventional Radiology patient population and their families.
  • Develop and maintain all required competencies related to the care and management of the Interventional Radiology patient population.
  • Function within an integrated Health Care System to provide responsible, professional critical care nursing care.
  • Demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of the job.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology or Cath lab experience.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

Schedule Notes

  • Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm daily
  • 3-5 years of Cath Lab experience
  • NJ state licensure with BLS, ACLS certification
  • No weekend or on-call requirement
  • Moderate sedation administration, ability to read cardiac telemetry arrhythmias
  • Strong communication skills with excellent consumer experience skills
  • Strong product knowledge of peripheral venous intervention procedures
  • Care and management of patients having peripheral vascular interventions
