    About the Role

    This priority opening is for a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician who has completed a Pain Management fellowship. You will work across both offices, guiding patients from evaluation and treatment planning through interventional procedures and follow-up care. The opportunity combines a broad procedural scope with a practice setting that includes physical therapy and acupuncture services. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, plus alternating Saturdays, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.

    Responsibilities

    • Translate comprehensive evaluations into individualized treatment plans focused on pain relief and improved function.
    • Deliver cervical and lumbar epidurals, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) as clinically appropriate.
    • Evaluate and treat appropriate candidates for spinal cord stimulator trials and percutaneous discectomy.
    • Provide sacroiliac (SI) joint injections and fusion, along with other joint injections, based on patient needs and clinical assessment.
    • Help patients understand their treatment options, procedural expectations, and follow-up plans.
    • Monitor treatment response and functional progress, adjusting care plans as patients’ needs change.
    • Coordinate with physical therapy and acupuncture colleagues to support continuity across treatment services.
    • Maintain clear clinical documentation and consistent follow-up while working between the New Hyde Park and Richmond Hill offices.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree.
    • Completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
    • Board certification in PM&R.
    • Completed fellowship in Pain Management.
    • Availability to work on-site at both locations during the stated weekday and alternating Saturday schedule.
