Job Title: Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Southeast New Mexico
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established healthcare system in Southeast New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality clinical care for cardiovascular and peripheral artery disease patients.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
- No weekends, no on-call schedule.
- Call coverage: 10 days per month for local hospitals.
- State-of-the-art outpatient clinic with Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine, Echo, and Ultrasound facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat cardiovascular and peripheral artery disease on both an in-patient and out-patient basis.
- Provide medical consultations and call coverage for local hospitals, 10 days per month.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Cardiology.
- One to two-year additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
- New Mexico medical license (active or pending).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented, patient-focused, and motivated to deliver exceptional care.
