Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic and growing cardiovascular team within 1 Hour of Rockford, IL. Position Highlights
- Location:
- 1 Hour of Rockford, IL, 1 hour east of the Mississippi River
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Call Schedule: 1:3
- Salary: Competitive base salary based on MGMA benchmarks and experience, plus RVU-based bonus structure
- Cath Lab Support:
- 2 fully operational Cath Labs
- 24/7 coverage with nurses on call
- Designated Chest Pain Center
- Team includes Interventional Cardiologists, General Cardiologists, and Nurse Practitioners
- No Surgical Backup Required
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Participate in call coverage on a 1:3 rotating basis
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active or pending medical license in Illinois
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
