Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity | East Alabama Health

Pinnacle Cardiovascular Associates, a non-profit, single-specialty group affiliated with East Alabama Health, is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing practice in Alabama. This opportunity is well suited to candidates with an interest in CHIP, Endovascular/Peripheral, or ACHD general interventional candidates are also welcome and includes access to nearly every cardiovascular subspecialty for referral and consultation as part of a five-physician, five-APP practice.

Position Highlights:

• High-Volume, High-Acuity Practice 50,000+ annual clinic visits and 5,000+ cath lab procedures, supported by a 316-bed regional referral center hospital.
• Growing Community New physicians are being added to meet demand in a growing city and expanding practice.
• Full Subspecialty Access Physicians have access to nearly all cardiovascular and medical subspecialties for referral and consultation.
• Academic & Leadership Involvement Paid teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, medical students, and APPs, plus research and committee involvement.
• Strong APP Support 5 APPs support the practice, with APP rounding on admitted patients when applicable and APP assistance on weekend call.
• Comprehensive In-House Imaging Echo, nuclear, and vascular imaging available on-site; Cerner EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Balanced Schedule A mix of clinic and procedural days each week, with guaranteed weekly cath lab access
• Call Schedule: Interventional 1 in 3 with APP-support
