Supportive School Environment – Collaborate with experienced educators and support staff
Provide specialized instruction and individualized academic support to students with diverse learning needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student growth and achievement.
Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in inclusive, resource room, or specialized classroom settings as assigned.
Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies based on individual student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators.
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Implement positive behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed.
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or eligibility to obtain appropriate Ohio licensure.
Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.
Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and special education regulations.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and school administrators.
Passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
