The role:
The Delivery & Operations Division Budget Office provides essential financial services that help guide ODOT's budgeting, forecasting, reporting and operational direction. The Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) business analysis coordinator opportunity offers employees the chance to apply their financial knowledge while contributing to the IBR Program, a major transportation project between Oregon and Washington. In this role, employees will coordinate budget activities, monitor expenditures, prepare financial reports and provide recommendations that help improve program performance and efficiency. You will partner with teams across ODOT and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and join a collaborative team of coordinators who provide assistance, knowledge and offer backup coverage. Minimum qualifications:
Five years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system;
OR
Five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis. Experience must have included modeling, forecasting and analyzing fiscal information;
OR
Successful completion of the Department of Administrative Services Budget and Management Public Administrative Trainee Program.
