Job description:
- Morning-shift interpreter to support meetings scheduled between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. ET, Monday through Thursday (excluding Fridays).
- Actual hours may vary depending on candidate experience, skill level, and the meeting schedule. Occasionally, may also be asked to support evening meetings.
Responsibilities:- Provide accurate Simultaneous interpretation remotely (equipment provided) for meetings at Client Automobile Development Center (ADC), legacy Client R&D.
- As an interpreter dispatched by your agency to work for ADC, it is critical that both your Japanese and English be smooth and easy to understand.
- Although translation is minimal, you are expected to translate documents accurately and quickly, if and when necessary.
Requirements: - Experienced Japanese/English Simultaneous Interpreter (both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese).
Education:- 4-year college degree with a few years of experience, or if no college, at least 5 years of interpretation experience.
