Internship - Software Developer (Marketing and Sales IT)

What''s the role?

Join the Marketing & Sales IT (FIM) team within Hilti Global IT, where you will build and enhance systems that support global sales, customer engagement, and marketing platforms.

In this role, you'll be part of an international team delivering digital solutions that improve customer engagement and marketing effectiveness across global markets, while contributing directly to systems that drive commercial operations.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will develop and maintain backend and platform-based solutions within a Scrum team, working across the software delivery lifecycle-implementing business logic, extending platform capabilities, and delivering reliable, well-tested functionality.

You will gain hands-on experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP), contributing to scalable solutions in a distributed ecosystem. You will also work with AI-assisted development tools, including Kiro, applying spec-driven development to guide implementation and improve code quality.

What You'll Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technical topics
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in a structured yet flexible environment
• Ability to understand tasks end-to-end and take ownership
• Good communication, planning, and coordination skills
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Available for a minimum internship duration of 5 months
