This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through the entire Winter/Spring term (i.e through April/May 2026) or into Summer 2027 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

We are looking for an exceptional electronics design engineer to join Tesla's Energy Reliability team as an intern. This role follows the lifecycle of the product from concept to design, development, manufacturing, and field operation to design-in confirmation and grows exceptional product performance at every stage.
The role will be focused mostly on critical electronics circuit design, and power electronics circuit design validation using electrical hardware design, control, and firmware skills to improve design for reliability engineering products in industrial and residential products. Having hands-on testing with power electronics systems and HV circuit designs are needed.Location: Palo Alto, CA
