Description:
  • Client is seeking a mid-level associate to join our International Trade practice in the Washington, DC office.
  • The successful candidate will have three to five years of relevant experience and a solid working knowledge of export controls (EAR and ITAR), economic sanctions (OFAC), cross-border investment controls including CFIUS and OISP, FOCI mitigation, and other trade-related regulations.
  • Experience in customs/in-bound trade compliance would be a plus.
  • Strong writing abilities and proven project management skills are also essential.
  • Associates in this role will collaborate directly with seasoned practitioners who are committed to hands-on mentoring and providing meaningful opportunities for greater responsibility and client interaction.
  • Ideal candidates are proactive self-starters capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
  • We also look for candidates with outstanding academic records, superior communication skills, and a genuine dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
  • All candidates must be admitted to the Washington D.C. Bar.
