LHH is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator / International Logistics Specialist to join their team, this is a newly created position driven by increased workload and expanding global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage international import and export operations.
- Coordinate imports from Europe and Asia.
- Oversee exports to Central and South America.
- Prepare and maintain import/export documentation and shipping records.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade requirements.
- Coordinate shipments with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customers.
- Support logistics activities related to silicone liquid manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and shipment accuracy.
- Monitor transportation schedules and proactively resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with global customers, including key accounts in South Korea and China.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in international logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong import/export experience.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and shipping documentation.
- Experience coordinating with overseas suppliers and international customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or industrial environments is a plus.
Pay/Benefits:
- $50,000 - $60,000/year
