AC4S LLC is currently seeking an International Deployment Manager to join their team in Northern Virginia. The international Deployment Manager will be responsible for managing worldwide deployment and installation across Foreign Service Posts and overseas Consular facilities. Ensures installations are planned for completion by dedicated onsite teams. Directs trip schedule submission for Government approval at least ten days before any deployment trip. Adjusts deployment trips for special circumstances including rapid deployment of new or complex applications. Oversees Hardware Configuration Management for all designated DT/EA/CST configurable items at overseas locations. Directs refinement and execution of deployment SOPs, reviewing them semi-annually and implementing improvements. Maintains the server refresh plan for worldwide Consular facilities, coordinating with Post and Consular Facility POCs to reduce disruption. Provides specialized teams responding to special projects and surges outside routine programs. Experience and Skills - Experience coordinating with Government stakeholders, Foreign Service Posts, Consulates, logistics providers, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment execution.
- Strong knowledge of hardware configuration management, asset lifecycle management, and enterprise configuration control processes.
- Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving deployment Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational processes.
- Ability to manage complex deployment projects, including rapid-response initiatives, technology refreshes, and special mission requirements.
- Experience overseeing enterprise server refresh programs, infrastructure upgrades, and hardware modernization efforts.
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 8+ years of experience.
Physical Requirements - Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds. Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.
- Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
- Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.
- Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.
- Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
- Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation is assumed unless separately certified and required.
