Position Summary: The Internal Quality Auditor completes audits independently or directs an audit from beginning to end. In this position, you will schedule, plan, and conduct internal quality process audits, quality system audits, follow-up audits and other quality-related audits.Key Responsibilities:
Create, implement, plan, and execute internal quality audits in adherence to established SOP's and audit plansEnsure compliance to the Quality Management System (AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, etc.) and verifies the audit's resulting actions are implemented and effectiveRevise, refine, update, and recommend changes to policies and proceduresAssist team with the issuance of high-quality corrective actions that prevent recurrence by performing root cause analysis and risk mitigation, and assuring objective evidence adequately supports the audit resultsRepresent Quality and support the team at audit and corrective action meetings and discussionsReview corrective action submittals for acceptance and complianceTrack, record, analyze and maintain trending Quality Assurance data and submit reportsCommunicate and present quality system audit issues and progress reports to managementPrepare audit presentation material detailing audit findings and conclusions reached as well as recommendations, presenting to senior leadership as neededPerform quality-related activities that add strategic value to the business such as participation in process and procedural development activities, continuous improvement actions, process mapping and streamlining, and contractual program verificationCollaborate with the leadership team and production team to achieve most efficient and accurate quality assessmentsOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field of studyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work productively in a fast-paced atmosphere without distractionMust be able to multi-task with strong organizational skills and be detail-orientedStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple departmentsAbility to self-manage work independently and set priorities with demonstrated follow through skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
3+ Years in aerospace parts manufacturing, maintenance operations or distributionExperience working with an aerospace Quality Management System (AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120)Previous knowledge and experience with aerospace including manufacturing, maintenance, or productionWorking knowledge Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), including 14 CFR 21, 65, 91, and 145Previous experience performing quality audits, inspections, and root cause analysis'

Pay Band: $28.31 - $34.28 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
