Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Project/Program Manager V with a cybersecurity, compliance, or audit background to lead internal projects and manage remediation efforts resulting from non-compliance. This role will collaborate with business units, manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations, and provide status reporting and escalations for outstanding issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal projects to ensure scope, time, budget, and quality expectations are met.
  • Plan, control, and manage project activities.
  • Manage corporate and third-party vendor efforts to plan, build, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop, manage, and track remediation plans resulting from non-compliance.
  • Prepare status reporting for outstanding issues and escalations.
  • Determine when escalation is warranted.
  • Develop strategy and lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects.
  • Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.
  • Participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.
  • Apply project management techniques, operational policies, processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management roles or similar roles/businesses.
  • In-depth knowledge of services, operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
  • Extensive understanding of critical project management techniques.
  • PMP certification.
  • Cybersecurity, compliance, or audit background.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and track remediation plans.
  • Ability to determine when escalation is warranted.
  • Ability to operate independently in complex disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Recognized mastery of relevant subject matter, including technologies, theories, or techniques.
  • Experience developing innovative principles and ideas.
  • Experience leading large, cross-division functional teams or projects.
  • Experience providing solutions for complex organizational challenges.
