SUBJECT: INTERNAL BPS POSTING MENTOR MANAGER (1) - Middle School Mentor Teaching Program Start Date: November 30, 2026

The above captioned position is posted for interested staff members. This position is contingent upon funding.

THE MENTOR MANAGER WILL WORK WITH MENTORS AND MENTEES AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL LEVEL

Qualifications: Must be a licensed teacher Must have a minimum of 5 years' successful teaching experience, at least 3 years in Brockton Must have a recent recommendation from a principal or supervisor Interest in or experience with mentor teaching preferred At least a two-year commitment to the position is preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Educator at the middle school level

Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide the mentor and mentee professional development activities, when available Monitoring logs and ongoing communication with Keri Clark to ensure proper budget and payroll management Communicate with mentors, mentees, and appropriate administrators Modify and implement the program assessment tool Address needs of the program; work with other mentor managers Plan for the future needs of the program Other related duties as the need arises

Compensation: The $2,200 stipend for the 2026-2027 school year is contingent upon the anticipated retirement of the current position holder and will be prorated based on the length of service.
