What Youll Do
- Provide inpatient nephrology care for hospitalized patients.
- Round on an inpatient census that fluctuates between approximately 14 and 18 patients.
- Provide full-time nephrology clinic coverage.
- Participate in weekday and weekend nephrology on-call coverage.
- Coordinate outpatient dialysis orders with clinic support staff.
- Collaborate with Fresenius registered nurses supporting the inpatient dialysis unit.
- Work with registered nurses and medical assistants in the nephrology clinic.
What You Need
Required- Ability to provide inpatient nephrology care.
- Ability to manage a variable inpatient rounding list.
- Ability to participate in scheduled on-call coverage.
- Required license and certifications: Not specified.
Preferred- Experience providing both inpatient nephrology and nephrology clinic coverage.
- Experience coordinating dialysis-related care and outpatient dialysis orders.
