Caduceus Medical Recruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to join a well-established, high-volume hospitalist program within a large, integrated healthcare system. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and a collaborative inpatient environment.

Position Overview

This role provides the opportunity to practice in a robust hospitalist program with a multidisciplinary care model and comprehensive subspecialty support. Physicians will manage a diverse inpatient population while benefiting from a structured schedule and well-supported clinical environment.

Practice Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts (daytime coverage)
• No call responsibilities
• Average patient census of 15–20 patients per provider

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists
• Collaborate with intensivists in the care of critically ill patients (no procedures required)
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives
