• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Endoscopy with unpaid 1-hour lunch)
• Hours/week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Travel assignment
• Licenses/Certifications: MD licensed in Maryland
• Experience: Prior gastroenterology experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Perform and assist with endoscopic procedures (upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, combined)
• Manage moderate sedation processes independently (patient-controlled sedation with nurse support)
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe and effective sedation administration
• Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients

What You Need

• MD license in Maryland (or eligible for licensure renewal)
• Experience with endoscopic procedures (upper endoscopy, colonoscopy) preferred
• Comfortable with moderate sedation protocols; ability to manage sedation independently
• Strong patient care skills and team collaboration
• Ability to work within a fast-paced clinical environment
