    Description

    Conducts daily audits of departmental revenue activity. Using a combination of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), reporting tools, live register reviews and walkthroughs of various locations. Maintains a relationship with all revenue generating departments and the Corporate Security Investigations Unit.

    Unique Job Requirements

    Must be available to work during a variety of summer operating hours, as the Internal Investigations Unit may require including but not limited to: weekends, holidays, and nights. Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, and nights. Must maintain absolute confidentiality in matters relating to employee interactions, incidents, and investigations. Must maintain close working relationships with the operational departments of the company. Must be self-motivated, organized, and focused.

    Job Tasks

    • Observe/audit operating departments and employees in person and electronically.
    • Document internal investigations by completing thorough reports that may be used in court.
    • Assist as a witness for both Internal Investigations and Human Resources interviews.
    • Assist departments with preventative recommendations and active participation in protecting company assets.
    • Ensure departmental compliance in fulfilling minimum safety and security standards.
    • Assist Internal Investigations Supervisor and Lead with other related duties as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications: Training and Experience

    Must be 18 years old

    Training & Experience

    Preferred one year of experience working within either an audit/review, over/short reporting, loss prevention, and/or policy compliance environment.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Knowledge of general office skills; i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to learn layout of the properties in a short time.
    • Ability to learn and enforce company standards, procedures, and policies.
    • Ability to write accurate and detailed reports.
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
    • Ability to obtain information through observation.
    • Ability to operate a computer to input and access data and prepare reports.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to safely perform moderate physical work
    • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
    • Bi-manual dexterity
    • Able to hear conversations on phone, 2-way radio and in person.
    • Able to monitor video surveillance for up to 6 hours per day.
    • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

    Licenses / Insurance

    • Possess and maintain valid U.S. driver's license
    • DMV printout required

    Testing Upon Offer or Hire

    Criminal background check.

    Proof of valid Driver's License/Clean DMV printout.

    Signed privacy and confidentiality policy.
